What should I expect with my Dysport treatment at Imagen?

Our experienced physicians perform all of our facial rejuvenation treatments. Dysport is a minimally invasive treatment that does not require anesthesia (although as a courtesy we can numb the area before hand if you would like, just let us know!) Dysport is an office-based treatment that only takes a few minutes to perform. You can expect to see the results in as little as a week.*

Am I a candidate for Dysport?

If you have lines or wrinkles on your face from the movement of your facial muscles, then you may be a good candidate for Dysport. If your lines are deep, you may need several treatments before you see significant improvement. There are very few people whose facial wrinkles will not be improved with Dysport treatment.

What is Dysport?

What does PRP + Microneedling do?

During a PRP treatment, a small amount of blood is drawn and then spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets and plasma from the other cells. The PRP is then injected into the areas where you desire rejuvenation. Platelet Rich Plasma contains growth factors which give it healing properties. These healing properties are stimulated through contact with collagen or injured tissue, so when PRP is combined with microneedling or laser resurfacing the results are even more impressive*. The platelets help to form a scaffold on which new collagen can be built and the growth factors help to heal and rejuvenate the skin or stimulate hair growth and thickness. Facial PRP injections can improve fine lines, thinning skin and sun damage. PRP improves microcirculation, leading to a decrease in the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. PRP can also be combined with hyaluronic acid fillers (like Restylane or Juvederm) to plump deeper lines and add volume to the face.
